Welcome to AJC Medical Secretary Services Ltd. I am Amanda Carter, owner of AJC Medical Secretary Services Ltd, a virtual secretarial service for healthcare consultants.
I understand that running a busy private practice can be difficult, but I have found that most consultants want to concentrate on treating their patients and working in an operating theatre rather than general administration tasks. Human nature dictates that generally, people will spend more of their time doing the things they enjoy and put off the things that they don't.
I thoroughly enjoy working in the healthcare sector and find it most interesting. I also enjoy the back-office organisation and setting up processes for the smooth day to day running of a business. I have experience of working as a medical secretary within the NHS, working in numerous medical fields. Prior to working in healthcare I worked in a busy estate agency responsible for, amongst other things, finance, compliance, data protection and correspondence with all regulatory bodies.
I am an honest, hardworking, diligent individual that would be a valued addition for any consultant practice. I can help with all aspects of your back office allowing you, the consultant to concentrate on the front end; the area you enjoy: the patient.
